The CE 680 M511 is an all-purpose vibration sensor designed for use with machinery in harsh industrial environments. It uses the industry standard 2-wire voltage transmission technique with a constant current supply. The output signal has a sensitivity of 100 mV / g.

The IOC4T input /output card acts as a signal interface for the VM600 series MPC4 machinery protection card, from Meggitt’s Vibro-Meter® product line. It is installed in the rear of a VM600 rack and connects directly to the rack backplane via two connectors. Each IOC4T card is associated with a corresponding MPC4 card and is mounted directly behind it in the VM600 rack (ABE04x or ABE056). The IOC4T operates in slave mode and communicates with the MPC4, through connector P2, using an Industry Pack (IP) interface.

The 8507-BI-DP Bus Interface Module (BIM) provides the communications link between the PAC8000 series I/O modules and a PROFIBUS-DP host. High-speed acquisition of data from the modules and LAN operation speeds of up to 12 Mbaud allow the host to respond rapidly to changes in process conditions.

The EX2100e Excitation Control Regulator system is GE’s most recent state-of-the-art control system for steam, gas, or hydro generators for both new and retrofit units. Control hardware and software design is closely coordinated between GE’s system and controls engineering to ensure delivery of a true system solution. Integration is seamless between Excitation Control systems, Turbine Control systems, Static Starter Control systems, Integrated Control Systems (ICS), and the Human-machine Interface (HMI). For stand-alone retrofit applications, integration with customer distributed control systems (DCS) through serial or Modbus® Ethernet is supported. This document specifically addresses applications for the 35 A and 120 A (nominal) series of EX2100e Control Regulator systems.

The HMI Control Unit features a back-illuminated Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), four status LEDs, seven push buttons, eight (virtual 32) signal LEDs, 3 LED bars for indication of analogue values and an electronic key interface.The language of the display can be selected via the related configuration software tool, which is also used to define the functional scheme of the High Speed Transfer Device. The left half of the LCD display is reserved for the Single Line diagram. The right half is used to display either measured or calculated analogue values or the appropriate menu or submenu as determined by the user. Two different electronic keys with different access rights are available. Two fixed and one freely programmable LED bars are provided on the front of the HMI Control Unit. Each LED bar consists of ten green and two red LEDs. The third bar is user configurable to display any required analogue value. The red LEDs are used to indicate values above the rated value.

Compatible devices include not only Modicon® 　　PLCs (almost all support the Modbus protocol) but also a wide range of process and control devices from a variety of manufacturers. Many 　　SCADA packages also support the Modbus protocol.
