It provides real-time feedback on the in-cylinder combustion conditions of gas turbines and high-power diesel engines, determines combustion stability, identifies abnormal combustion phenomena such as combustion oscillation, knocking, and misfire, and provides raw monitoring data for the control system. It collects rapidly changing pressure pulsations, combustion impacts, knocking, and combustion oscillation signals inside the combustion chamber, converts pressure changes into electrical charge signals for output, and captures high-frequency combustion pressure fluctuations. Constant static pressure will not generate output.

  Core Functions

  Dynamic Pressure Signal Acquisition: Acquires rapidly changing pressure pulsations, combustion impacts, knocking, and combustion oscillations signals inside the combustion chamber, converting pressure changes into charge signal outputs to capture high-frequency combustion pressure fluctuations. Constant static pressure will not generate output.

  Unit Combustion Status Monitoring: Provides real-time feedback on the in-cylinder combustion conditions of the gas turbine and high-power diesel engine, determining combustion stability, identifying abnormal combustion phenomena such as combustion oscillation, knocking, and misfires, and providing raw monitoring data for the control system.

  Fault Alarm Input Source: The output charge signal is sent to the charge amplifier/VM600 monitoring rack. After conditioning and calculation, the system can trigger an alarm based on pressure amplitude and frequency exceeding limits, realizing early warning of unit combustion faults.

  Equipment Status Analysis and Diagnosis: In conjunction with the monitoring system, perform pressure-vibration joint analysis for unit performance evaluation, fault tracing, and combustion data analysis on the test bench, assisting maintenance personnel in assessing the health status of combustion chamber components.

  High-Temperature Online Measurement: The sensor body can withstand high-temperature combustion media and can be installed long-term in the combustion chamber measuring hole, enabling continuous online monitoring of the equipment during operation without downtime for disassembly.

  Installation Points:

  Use M10×1 threaded mounting and a dedicated torque wrench; do not use excessive force to tighten the sensor housing.

  The sensor probe must be inserted into the measuring hole to avoid excessive dead space, which will severely attenuate the high-frequency pressure signal.

  MI mineral-insulated cables must not be bent or crushed; the minimum bending radius should follow the manual.

  Signal Path: Sensor → Charge Amplifier → VM600 Monitoring System; the cable shielding layer must be reliably grounded at a single point to avoid ground loop interference.

  Static pressure calibration is not allowed; dynamic calibration is required.


  Common Fault Diagnosis

  No output at all: Cable core breakage, connector water ingress and oxidation, charge amplifier failure;

  High signal noise: Grounding loop, cable compression damage, poor connector contact;

  Low amplitude: Damaged sensor quartz element, excessive dead space during installation.
